PAVLOVA RECIPE


Ingredients

  • 4 egg-whites
  • 250g caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white-colored wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
    500g article" data-tooltip-w >strawberries, hulled and halved

Method

Heat oven to 150C/130C fan/gas 2.
Utilizing a pencil, mark the circumference of the dinner plate on baking parchment.
Whisk 4 egg-whites having a hands mixer until they form stiff peaks, then whisk in 250g caster sugar, 1 tablespoons of at any given time, before the meringue looks glossy.
Whisk in 1 teaspoon white-colored wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon cornflour and 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.
Spread the meringue within the circle, developing a crater by looking into making the edges just a little greater compared to middle.
Bake for 1 hr, then switch off heat and allow the Pavlova awesome completely within the oven.
Once the meringue is awesome, chop 100g from the hulled bananas. Mix all of them with 100g from the redcurrants and a pair of tablespoons of icing sugar.
Devote a mixer, blitz until smooth, then push the fruit mixture via a sieve.
Whip 350ml double cream using the remaining 1 tablespoons of icing sugar and spread it within the meringue. Place the remaining 400g hulled and halved bananas and 100g redcurrants around the cream and lastly pour the sauce within the good deal.
